Voltaren Emulgel is used to treat inflammation of tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints due to trauma (eg. sports injuries, sprains and strains), soft tissue rheumatism and localised rheumatic conditions, eg. bursitis, and for aches and pains, back, neck, and shoulder pain.
Diclofenac diethylammonium 11.6 mg/g.
Rub gently into the affected area 3 or 4 times daily. Do not use for more than 2 weeks unless under medical advice.
Do not use: on children under 12 years, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you have an allergy to diclofenac, aspirin or any other NSAID. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have:asthma that you know is aggravated by the use of analgesics; ulcers, bleeding or any other serious disorder of the stomach or bowel; severe kidney disease or you are taking any other medicines.
For each sachet, apply Voltaren Emulgel gel to the painful area 2 or 3 times daily. See the doctor immediately if you develop symptoms. “When a drug is on the market, it can be easily sold on the internet and in the mail,” said Belin. “This is a great opportunity for consumers who would not be able to obtain a prescription for a new drug without a doctor’s supervision.”
